Expression Sessions

Spend Friday night under lights as riders, skiers and snowskaters battle it out in hopes of standing on top of the podium. The progressive setup will showcase features for a wide range of ability levels. With seven divisions, there'll be tons of skis, snowboards and prizes up for grabs, so don’t miss out!

The next Expression Sessions Series event is a rail jam in the base area! This is the final event of a four rail jam series.

REGISTRATION

Registration starts at 5:00pm in the Cafeteria at the Boreal Base Lodge and is first come, first serve. Skiers and snowboarders age 7+ are encouraged to participate. The entry fee is $5 and does not include a lift ticket. There is no online pre-registration.

Each participant must wear a properly fastened snow sports helmet during all event practice and competition.

All participants of Expression Session #4 must fill out an Express Assumption of Risk form. If you are under 18, you will need a parent/guardian to sign your form.

6:20pm – 6:30pm Competitor Meeting, Rail Jam Venue
6:30pm – 7:10pm Heat #1, Rail Jam Venue
7:20pm – 8:00pm Heat #2, Rail Jam Venue
8:00pm – 8:30pm Competitor Pizza Party, Cafeteria at Boreal Lodge
8:30pm – 8:45pm Awards, Cafeteria at Boreal Lodge

DIVISIONS

Each participant must wear a properly fastened snow sports helmet during all event practice and competition.

  • SKIERS:
    • Grom Skier (age 7-12)
    • Teen Skier (age 13-17)
    • Open Skier Women
    • Open Skier Men
  • RIDERS:
    • Grom Rider (age 7-12)
    • Teen Rider (age 13-17)
    • Open Rider Women
    • Open Rider Men
  • SNOWSKATE:
    • Open Snowskate (Men & Women)

Grom and Teen Divisions are open only to athletes within the age bracket as of competition day. Athletes that qualify based on age for the Grom and Teens Divisions may choose to compete in the Open Division. The Grom and Teen Divisions will be combined, with both male and female athletes. Athletes age 7-17 who prefer single-sex competition have the option of competing in an Open Men's or Open Women's Division. The Snowskate Division will be combined, with both male and female athletes and all ages 7+.
