Donner Summit, CA (July 12, 2013) – Woodward Tahoe, an innovative action sports training center and youth camp, is announcing an incredible deal for the end of its summer camp season.  Woodward Tahoe is offering the ‘Summer’s Not Over’ sale featuring 50 percent off of the original price for summer 2013 camp sessions #7, #8 and #9 with the purchase of a 2013-14 Bunker Pass.  The Summer’s Not Over special can be purchased online by visiting and is only on sale from now thru August 11, 2013. 

“Woodward Tahoe is a perfect place for people of all abilities to have fun with their friends and grow their skills,” stated Chris Hargrave, Director of Woodward Tahoe. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a new skater that needs help dropping in, a snowboarder wanting to develop awareness in the air, a skier with the desire to develop strength and stability, a biker looking to lock in that first back-flip, or casual sports enthusiast looking to trying to develop balance and skill in your first action sport, this facility has the tools to help you take your sport to a whole new level! The Summer’s Not Over sale is an incredible opportunity for kids to experience camp and all that we offer,” continued Hargrave.

The Summer’s Not Over discount is applicable during the Woodward Tahoe summer camp sessions #7, #8 and #9 which run Sunday through Saturday from July 28, 2013 thru August 17, 2013. Campers can opt to participate in dryland skiing and snowboarding, BMX, skateboarding or digital media. The Summer’s Not Over sale pricing starts with sessions starting at $499, 50% off of the original price of $899. Campers will enjoy access to the 33,000 square foot indoor facility at the base of Boreal Mountain Resort offering multi-level Olympic trampolines, a Super Tramp, a concrete skate park for skateboarding and BMX biking, a pump track and skatelite ramps to foam pits for freeski, snowboard, BMX and skateboard training.  Additional outdoor facilities are available for use including the modular skatepark, BMX dirt track and pond complete with a water trampoline and Blob. On August 1, 2013, Woodward Tahoe will break ground on an outdoor 3-pocket combi skate bowl which is scheduled to be completed by the middle of that month.

The Bunker Pass is valid for unlimited daily usage based on capacity at the Woodward Tahoe facility, dubbed ‘The Bunker’, from August 23, 2013 thru April 13, 2014.  The Bunker Pass also includes a CORE Membership (value $49) which enables you to access ‘Basic Training’ sessions daily.  Basic Training is designed to teach you everything you need to know in order to safely use the facilities while also giving you a solid dose of skill development.  Each zone in the Woodward Tahoe Bunker has specific training and members will need to be cleared in each zone prior to use.  The Bunker pass is only available to participants aged seven years of age and older.

About Woodward Tahoe Woodard Tahoe, an American Camp Association member, offers summer and winter camp facilities open to boys & girls, kids & teens, ages 7-20 for full week-long camp sessions or individual instruction drop-in sessions. Woodward Tahoe is the home to many professional athletes who visit the facility to train or to lead instructional programs for students. Once the summer camp season comes to an end, The Bunker will open to the public for daily drop-in sessions.
