Media Contact: Josh Smith Switchback PR & Marketing, Inc. 530.550.2252 josh@switchbackpr.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Get Up to Get Down On Friday Nights at Boreal Donner Summit, CA (January 21, 2008)- In the words of Dr. Samuel Johnson, British scholar and author, “All intellectual improvement arises from leisure.” Boreal Mountain Resort understands this, and takes pride in offering college students the perfect balance of work and play this winter season with a Frickin Friday promotion getting college students and military personnel on the mountain for just $15 every Friday. In addition, visitors will get the chance to see some of the area’s best skiers and snowboarders, throwing down for some of the freshest gear on the snow at Boreal’s Expression Sessions every other Friday throughout the season. As every college coed eagerly awaits Friday to begin the festivities, cruising up to Donner Summit to get some shredding in is quickly becoming a favorite way to kick off a great weekend. As hundreds of college students and military men and women from Sacramento to Reno and everywhere in between flock to Boreal’s masterfully crafted terrain park and superpipe, what better way to get the juices flowing than getting down on the slopes with some friends. Cost is $15 and includes a lift ticket. Those looking to score some gear can look forward to Expression Sessions, Boreal’s Friday night competition series going on every other Friday all season long. The first 50 skiers and snowboarders to register have the chance to compete for prizes and gear from over 40 Expression Session sponsors. Featured sponsors include Planet Earth, Smith, Dakine, Thirty Two, Liberty Skis and many more of everyone’s favorite brands.
