March 2, 2007

Donner Summit, CA… Boreal Mountain Resort could quite possibly be one of the most active mountains in Tahoe during the long, spring days. Boreal’s “Springboard To Spring” festivities begin in March. Packed with USSA ski races, Tahoe League 2007 Championships… back by popular demand, the Western Snowmobile Racing X Game qualifier weekend is scheduled for this spring! The highly anticipated Annual Blow-Out Pass Sale is also fast approaching. Purchase a 2007/2008 Adult Anytime Season Pass for just $199. Kids’ anytime passes are just $59. Check out the entire calendar of fun events scheduled at Boreal Mountain Resort: March 9 – KRQR The Mountain – Z-Rocks listeners go online to www.krqr.com, print out a coupon which entitles each individual to $10.67 lift ticket for the day! March 15 – Helly Hansen Shop Battle – Attention all ski & snowboard shop employees: Hit the thrift shops and costume stores, don your best medieval/Viking outfit paying homage to the great Norse ski legend Helly Hansen himself, and get ready to pillage and plunder through a slopestyle course. Winners receive Viking helmets, head-to-toe Helly Hansen outerwear, Line Skis or Rome Snowboards, goblets for a celebratory pint of mead, chrome Viking belt buckles.
