Boreal Mountain Resort is Tahoe’s best value with terrific discounted packages and creative terrain parks. Always the first resort in the area to open, Boreal’s lifts spin from 9:00am – 9:00pm daily providing skiers and riders easy access to the slopes, day or night. Those new to snow will enjoy the Take 3, Ride FREE program offering a free season pass upon completion of three lessons. With five parks and a pipe, Boreal is a terrain park enthusiasts’ dream come true. Woodward Tahoe, located steps away from the slopes, is Tahoe’s only action sport training facility offering indoor trampolines, foam pits, skateparks, ramps and more.

New for 2015-16

Boreal continues to invest in energy-efficient snowmaking improvements designed to use less water and electrical energy in production. Over the summer, crews made significant enhancements to infrastructure, replacing snowmaking pipes and expanding a new cooling system to ensure resources are better utilized.

The extension of both beginner surface lifts results in an incredible learning area utilizing an 80ft and a 200ft moving carpet, ideal for learning to ski and snowboard.
Neff Land returns boasting over 30 rideable features including a life-sized ship mast, cannons, pirates and more.

A 13ft pipe promises to be open for play throughout the season into the evening hours! A new bag jump has been added for your aerial training progressions through Woodward Tahoe.

A ski in/ski out Waffle Cabin is now located near the bottom of 49er chair, offering skiers/riders and Playland guests easy access to delicious hot food and refreshments!

Playland tubing has a 2nd moving carpet for our younger tubers and snowplay enthusiasts, and we have a new tube shaper which will allow for maximum tubing laps in your day! Additional snowmaking has also been added to Playland!
