Boreal Mountain Resort is the closest and easiest resort to access from all parts of Northern California and Reno, Nevada. Conveniently located off Interstate 80, take Exit 176 for Boreal Ridge Road/Castle Peak and you are in the parking lot.

DIRECTIONS

From Sacramento, California

Take I-80 east for 80 miles and take exit 176 for Boreal Ridge Road/Castle Peak. Turn right to enter the parking lot.

From San Francisco, California

Take I-80 east for 175 miles and take exit 176 for Boreal Ridge Road/Castle Peak. Turn right to enter the parking lot.

From Reno, Nevada

Take I-80 west 45 miles and take exit 176 for Boreal Ridge Road/Castle Peak. Turn left to enter the parking lot.

From Kings Beach, Incline Village and South Lake Tahoe

Take Highway 267 to I-80 west and take exit 176 for Boreal Ridge Road/Castle Peak. Turn left to enter the parking lot.

From Tahoe City and Homewood

Take Highway 89 north to I-80 west and take exit 176 for Boreal Ridge Road/Castle Peak. Turn left to enter the parking lot.

PARKING

To ensure our parking lot is open and available to our resort guests, we are implementing paid parking during holiday periods* until 3:00pm this season. Mid-week and non-holiday weekend parking is free of charge to all guests.

*Holiday Dates: November 26-29, 2015; December 19, 2015 - January 3, 2016; January 16-18, 2016; February 13-21, 2016.

Parking cost on these days is $20 for each vehicle. We offer plenty of ways to park for free, even during these holiday periods. All you need to do is plan ahead with a purchase of any Boreal Mountain Resort or Woodward Tahoe product!

As long as at least one person in each vehicle has one of these, parking is complimentary:

Bonus ways to park for free:

  • Arrive after 3:00pm for night skiing/riding
  • Stay the night at the Boreal Inn
  • Drive a SUBARU!

Please have evidence of one of these purchases prior to arriving at the parking payment point.
