Mountain Tips

Mountain Tips are helpful bits of information provided by experienced skiers and snowboarders that know what information will make your First Ride safer and more enjoyable.

Here are some mountain tips to remember while enjoying the day at Boreal.

• Never leave your ski or board equipment unattended.
• Terrain Parks are not rated. Be safety conscious and read the guidelines.
• Never ski or ride in closed areas or outside the mountain boundaries
• Never cut in front of other skiers or riders when standing in a lift line
• Be conscious of skiers and riders on the mountain
• Clear the exit area when getting off the chair lift
• Always ride with a companion
• Look out for unmarked and marked obstacles
• Always wear sunscreen
• Always be conscious of merging trails, and move to the side of a trail away from other skiers or riders if you are going to rest in the snow
• Always check for riders before entering the half pipe
• Be courteous to those around you and make sure to have a good time!
